JW player quality toggle (HD button) takes time to load selected video quality. Its first complete the current video chunk and then load next video chunk in new selected quality.
Is there a way to start loading the new video quality immediately once user switch the quality?

videos "powered by jwplayer" will not load
Hi, I'm not a developer so I hope someone takes pity on me and helps me out, Whenever I run across video that will not play if I right click on it there is a logo that says "powered by jwplayer 7.10.2". I am using FF57 and have W7. Is there some FF add-on or plugin I need, or need to disable, or some default in FF that I need to set up properly in order to watch these videos? Any help will be appreciated - I am obviously not a techie person! Thank you!!

Constant buffering
My videos on my site are recorded through GoToWebinar, then processed in mp4 format afterwards. I host all of my videos on AWS (Amazon Web Services) server, and use JW Player for streaming. For whatever reason, I have an ongoing issue with constant buffering. What is a good remedy for this?

Missing License Key
I am using the free version and uploading multiple videos here: https://caves.org/committee/salons/Video_2017_Winners.shtml
All of them play in the Detail page, and display thumbs. But on the live page random videos display "Error Setting Up Video: Missing license key." I don't have access to a license key in the free version, so what's going wrong? I've deleted and re-added them multiple times. On another page (Video_2016) I've added 8 videos and only one will play...

Possible to self-host player with all player files self-contained?
I've downloaded the latest JWPlayer 8.05 as a self-contained player, and I'm trying to make a touch-screen kiosk system that is all self-contained (with locally-stored videos) for playback.
All is well if I have an internet connection, but in this case I need this to work without an internet connection as all media files are on the internal network.
It seems that it's impossible to make JWPlayer work 100% self-hosted and self-contained. It always wants to download jspsrv.js and the controls.html5 js file directly from the JWPlayer cdn.
Can someone please tell me if this is possible to accomplish with JWPlayer?

Hi, was just wondering if i serve files from my 3rd party CDN account, will this go against the allowed play total? or would I have unlimited plays because im not using your network?
Would hate to setup my videos and have the player stop with a data cap.

JWplayer 5.10.2295 Green Screen
Hello,
My organization uses JWplayer 5.10.2295 as our player to host several hundred long (1 hr +) videos. Many of our viewers use Internet Explorer 11, and we have noticed that the player, while it has no issues with Chrome or Firefox, has an issue where sometimes on IE11, a video will crash in the middle of viewing it and display a green screen. This happens at random. Sometimes it never happens at all. Closing the browser and reopening it will usually allow it to play through. We would like to eliminate this from ever happening.
Has anyone else noticed this issue with Internet Explorer 11, and has anyone found a fix? My organization is unable to upgrade to a new version of the player at this time. We would be able to change our video export settings if that is what we need to do. What are the optimal video format settings for this version of the player?

Restarting Audio Playback After Newtwork dropout/hiccup
We are sending a MP3 stream to the JW Player and have issues when people listening on their phones restart the stream from beginning if there is a network/cell interruption.
Is there a way to detect the failure and restart the stream from point of failure?

new browsers are not supporting old version jwplayer(2009 released)
I had used jwplayer in old fashion web apps on 2009/2010.
I had written almost thousand line using java script to handle auto play audios in specific times of a day or month. after updating the new browsers such as IE, Chrome Firefox, auto play is not working and player wait to user click on the play icon and its directing the page in the address of the audio file to play.
how can I handle and resolved the issue without(or minor) changing the codes to have Autoplay functionality in new browser

Full screen player on mobile devices
Hello, I have noticed that full screen is not a default feature of the player when I embed it on mobile web sites whereas I can see that full screen is quite common behaviour when I tap play if I want to see a video content on mobile devices.
Can you please let me know if this is a feature I can set on in the platform UI or I have to work on the source code directly?
