hi all,
we recently moved to hls and upgraded jwplayer to 7 from 6 and everything is working fine with that but we are facing an issue which is our old .mov files and .m4v files which aren't being played by jwplayer7. on the previous player(jwplayer6 without hls) they were working fine. Is there something which is missing from our side I tried some .mov links on demo.jwplayer.com/stream-tester/ and there also it showed the same error (no playable source). We are using s3 and cloudfront to serve our content I also saw this post on aws (https://forums.aws.amazon.com/thread.jspa?messageID=301345- as its an old post so couldn't verify if it is still valid ) forum mentioning that "CloudFront does not support the playback of .mov files" and I also wasn't able to play the .mov files or .mp4 files instead they just download when I tried to open them directly on s3 on the other hand .mp4 were playable. Now my question is how can I get these files working again as they were working before we moved to hls what are we missing?. we always have been using h264 codec for our encoding both before and after hls
