TypeError: jwplayer(...).getState is not a function(…)

jwplayer object does not appear to return a valid state when the jwplayer display is hidden. When shown again, it returns 'TypeError: jwplayer(...).getState is not a function(…)' instead of the current state of the object, (which would be 'paused'). https://github.com/openfcci/jwplayer-slider
