I use JWPlayer 6 in my Wordpress 4.4 (latest version) -- audio only -- and while it seems to work fine in Chrome and Explorer, not so much in Firefox and Safari.
In Firefox, only the first two seconds are played before it cuts off.
In Safari, you can only control the 'play' button, not scroll through the stream.
Should I update to JWP7 to fix this? If so, how? There is no "update" option in the JWPlayer settings area.
