We just upgraded our system and are using MPEG DASH streaming from Wowza with JWplayer 7.12.2 (the latest self-hosted version) We can’t use HTML5 because we have a subscription based site.
Do to the fact that only newer OS and browsers support MPEG DASH https://support.jwplayer.com/customer/portal/articles/1403635-media-format-reference#streaming we added a fall back on player error to a flash version of the video.
We are capturing all errors from the player and we are surprise to see that also supported OS and browsers trigger the fall back.
This creates another problem because newest browsers don’t have by default flash support.
