Use proxy for video URL

Hi. We have our videos hosted in Azure. We have some user restrictions, like geo restrictions, public/premium, etc. Before, we used Azure Media Player, and instead of setting the Azure manifest URL, we set up a proxy URL. Then, in that endpoint, we checked for the different kinds of restrictions we have. I was wondering how can it be done using JWPlayer? As far as I know, the player needs a file parameter, that accepts only videos, not URLs. Thanks!
