I create the test page.
The first one work corretly and show about a offline video:

this work with all browser correctly.
Then I made a second player:
http://www.cr-web.it/jwplayer/testLive.html
this is about a live stream video (so actually there's not any live online) and with Internet explorer i show the correct error "Cannot load M3U8: 400 status code" with Chrome i had this error: "Cannot load M3U8: Crossdomain access denied"
When a live video is online on internet explorer work correctly, but with chrome I show this error: "Cannot load M3U8: Crossdomain access denied"
This error happened after update jwplayer from version 7.4.4 to 7.8.7 .
If I rollback to 7.4.4 all work correctly.
