I have been streaming and storing the videos for 6 years with Wowza. I then created a single page in the gallery section with a player and photos. I just recently discovered JW and now am loading url and adding info through dashboard.
The issue is that I recently rebuilt my website (had someone set it up and I maintain it). The problem is that I have 450 videos (200+ GB) in a folder on the Wowza server and can't make them available to the students and parents. I would like to have a Gallery Archive Page that would have a sidebar with a collapsible menu organized by date (year>month>day and even time as we regularly have multiple events in one day) and a filter for the types of event (recital, rock concert, master class, etc...). The player would then play the file the user would click.
Entering info in playlist in dashboard would be too time consuming so I was wondering if there is a way to automatically populate the database.
I spent quite a bit of time researching Wowza and JW forums in vain. I am not a programmer but have learned quite a bit but obviously not enough.
