Start playlist at specific index

Hello. We are using .m3u8 files an are using playlists. it is not possible to start the playlist with a specific index. JWPlayer always begins to start with index 0. Calling jwplayer().playlistItem(3) and begins but than the it results ins Cannot load M3U8: No levels to play..
